Watching wildlife in its natural environment is both a pleasure and privilege.
My main focus of animal and wildlife art is to capture the essence of the spirit, beauty and Majesty of the animals and wildlife "let the spirit last forever" My artwork very much reflects my love of nature. My paintings and artwork are incredibly detailed and portrayed using a variety of medium including pastels, watercolour pencils, pencil and mixed media. I have been painting for over 30 years and in that time, have become a highly regarded international animal and wildlife artist. I have always had a fascination for animals and wildlife and in 1985, I started showing, breeding and judging English Setter dogs (Larktower English Setter). This led to my early animal painting and drawing commissions. In 1987, I purchased a small farm in Evesham, Worcestershire and my animal and nature interest grew having my own dogs, ducks, goats, chickens and rare breeds. In 1994 I took the bold step to leave design engineering to go full time into animal and wildlife art, a decision I have never regretted. In 2005, I moved into a new studio and gallery at Stoke Prior, where I host art classes, workshops and demonstrations (both at the studio as well as venues across the UK) and education programmes and lectures.
